Winter

Winter is that the coldest season of the year in polar and temperate climates, between time of year and spring. Winter is caused by the axis of the planet therein hemisphere being orientated aloof from the Sun.
The English word "winter" comes from the Proto-Indo-European word "Wend", that stood for water.
